Strong AI-related demand drove revenue growth for major Taiwanese IT companies for the 20th consecutive month in October, with monthly revenue exceeding NT$1 trillion for the 20th consecutive month and continuously setting new monthly records.

According to Nikkei, major Taiwanese IT companies supplying large quantities of products and semiconductors to clients such as Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia achieved record-breaking revenue, primarily due to strong demand for AI-related servers and semiconductors. In October 2025, the combined revenue of 19 major Taiwanese IT companies included in the "Asia300" index, including TSMC and Foxconn, reached NT$1.9538 trillion, a significant increase of 11.8% compared to the same month last year. This marks the 20th consecutive month of growth and the second consecutive month of double-digit (over 10%) increases. Monthly revenue has exceeded NT$1 trillion for the 20th consecutive month and has set a new monthly record since statistics began in 2013 for the second consecutive month. The report indicates that among 19 major IT manufacturers, 13 saw revenue increases and 6 saw decreases in October. Specifically, benefiting from strong demand for AI servers, Foxconn's October revenue surged 11.3% to NT$895.7 billion, setting a new monthly record; Quanta Computer's revenue increased by 27.4%; and Delta Electronics' revenue skyrocketed 47.8% to NT$57.3 billion, also a new monthly record.

Due to strong demand for advanced chips from customers such as Nvidia, TSMC, the leading wafer foundry, saw its October revenue increase by 16.9%; Nanya Technology benefited from rising prices for older-generation DRAM, with revenue soaring by 262.4%. Meanwhile, companies with a smaller proportion of AI-related products showed mixed performance: UMC's October revenue contracted by 0.4%, while MediaTek's revenue grew by 1.8%.

Taiwanese companies not only handle the majority of Apple's iPhone production, but also control over 60% of the global semiconductor foundry market share. They also produce nearly 90% of servers, over 80% of PCs, and 80% of game consoles, supplying a large number of products to major global companies in the US, China, and Japan. Therefore, their monthly revenue trends can be used to predict economic trends for approximately three months from factory shipments to actual product availability. Nikkei News has been compiling and investigating revenue data from major Taiwanese IT companies since January 2013.
