Driven by AI applications and high-end computing demands, the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) sector has performed strongly, attracting continuous market capital inflows. Related stocks have frequently hit new highs, boosting order visibility for the PCB industry and related component manufacturers. PCB job openings increased by 26.05% year-on-year, second only to the IC design industry's 37.2%, with proactive resume submissions increasing by 31.09% year-on-year, closely following the semiconductor industry's 40.18%.

To cope with capacity expansion and technological upgrades, companies are further increasing their demand for talent. According to data from 1111 Job Bank, among technology industry categories, PCB job openings increased by 26.05% year-on-year, second only to the IC design industry's 37.2%, while proactive resume submissions increased by 31.09% year-on-year, second only to the semiconductor manufacturing industry's 40.18%, demonstrating a robust market for both talent and companies. Tseng Chung-wei, spokesperson for 1111 Job Bank, analyzed that the significant increase in proactive resume submissions from job seekers indicates that younger generations are observing market trends. This has made the PCB industry stand out among technology categories, becoming a top choice for job seekers. The relatively generous salary structure and clear industry prospects in the technology sector are also key factors attracting talent.

From the talent demand perspective, Tseng Chung-wei believes that companies are releasing increasingly diverse job openings. Engineering positions alone are subdivided into dozens of different specializations, ranging from IC design, firmware, process engineering, and equipment to testing and application engineering, each with different technical thresholds and functional requirements.

Tseng Chung-wei pointed out that with the rapid integration of AI technology into industry processes, companies are simultaneously adding positions related to AI application development, data analysis, and smart manufacturing. This demonstrates the continuous upgrading of the talent structure in the technology industry. He cautioned job seekers that only possess technical expertise and lack cross-domain integration or industry application capabilities, risking being quickly eliminated in the competition.

Zhang Zhuankai, General Manager of 1111 Job Bank, pointed out that competition for talent in the technology industry will continue to intensify, especially in the fields of AI, semiconductors, and high-end manufacturing. The demand for highly skilled personnel will only increase. Therefore, he advises job seekers not only to deepen their professional skills but also to improve their learning speed and adaptability to gain a foothold in the rapidly changing industry environment and even seize the next wave of growth opportunities.
