Rayleigh Optical Intelligence (RVI) participated in NVIDIA's GTC conference and announced the world's first AI-driven MicroLED intelligent manufacturing technology "AI MioC". Its silicon photonic communication light source manufacturing technology was highly praised by the industry at GTC, proving its leading position in silicon photonic optical communication technology.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced the launch of the Spectrum-X photonic co-packaged optical network switch at the GTC conference. It supports the expansion of AI factory scale to one million GPUs, saves energy by 3.5 times, and improves reliability by 10 times, jointly promoting AI technology innovation, and is equipped with TSMC's latest CPO (CPO, Co-Packaged Optics) technology.

The AI MioC technology released by Rayleigh Intelligent (RVI) uses advanced artificial intelligence algorithms to optimize the MicroLED manufacturing process, improve production efficiency, reduce production costs, and break through the mass production bottleneck of the MicroLED industry. The MicroLED arrays produced provide a more efficient and economical light source solution for the next generation of silicon photonic communications.

Rayleigh Optical Intelligence founder He Zhixiang said that in this wave of AI chips, computing power optimization will inevitably rely on silicon photonics and require comprehensive integration of optical communications from the chip to the motherboard level (chip-to-chip and board-to-board). MicroLED silicon photonics will also improve the integration, computing power, heat dissipation and reliability of future CPOs.

Ho Chi-Hsiang pointed out that choosing the right strategy is very important, and likened RVI to "hanging a jet engine on a racing car", indicating that this innovation will change the rules of the entire industry. The success of AI MioC technology not only marks a breakthrough in MicroLED process technology, but also symbolizes that the promise of promoting Taiwan's technology industry in the future has been realized.
